Fitness

Fitness means our body should be in good shape to support us in our daily routine and work. Yoga is not just fitness, but yoga is union of mind and body. Yoga happens in every activity knowingly or unknowingly. When there is union of healthy mind and healthy body, it results in positive outcome.

Fitness is not just reducing our body weight. Body weight and obesity are not the only factors causing pain in joints. Bad posture, if not corrected in time can cause bone deformities and painful joints. Postural correction is the need of the hour. It is not always the weight of the body which is causing pain in joints. Our body frame is made from bones and forms the structure of our body. And the muscles, fats and organs are placed symmetrically to form shape of our body. Everybody cannot be thin, and it is not true that thin people don’t suffer from deformity or don’t have pain. With yoga practice, postural correction is possible, with equal distribution of required fats, burning of unnecessary fats and maintaining the form of the body. This will give a tone to the body and not thin body.

Fitness is that one gets toning of body, flexibility to shape our body according to the external requirement without pain and retaining back the normal form, shape of the body.

Growing workload, changing pattern of work and their timings, globalization has brought tremendous change in our lifestyle, but its adversities are also even more challenging. There is no time for oneself and fitness. In this situation, it is important to reach out to people in their work environment where they spend more time and make them aware of importance of Yoga and its benefits. Many companies are also taking steps towards employee welfare.
Yoga is an ancient science founded by Lord Patanjali and then later developed by Rushi munis. Yoga is Tradition and our culture of every human being on this planet passed on to us a gift to our generation. Today each and every individual on this planet has understood and is understanding the importance of Yoga. We should take maximum benefit from it. It is proven that we all are genetically connected to each other. The knowledge of Yoga is genetically passed on to us, but it is hidden deep down in our sub conscious.

Diet

Diet

Diet is the integral part of our health. When our mind and body is healthy, we also tend to eat healthy. Stress, obesity, deformity disturbs our diet and eating habits and visa versa.

According to Ayurveda, our body is made of three Doshas- Vaat, Pith and Kaph and Panch Mahabhuta – Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Space. Instability in Doshas and Mahabhutas lead to distress and its effects can be seen on our body and mind.

Dietician for Diet

It is always recommended to eat according to our body composition and the environment we stay in. Due to globalization, every vegetable, fruits and meat are available everywhere. But we should be well aware of what suits us, our body composition, in which city, country I am in, what is the type of weather their and then maintain our diet accordingly.
If we think we are incapable of understanding the above factors, it is always recommended to consult a dietician for diet.

Ashtanga Yoga

According to Ashtanga yoga called as 8 limbs of yoga, which are Yama (attitude towards our environment), Niyama (attitude towards ourselves), Asana (physical posture), Pranayama (restraint or expansion of breath), Pratyahara (withdrawal of the senses), Dharana (Concentration), Dhyana (meditation), Samadhi (complete integration), First step as I said earlier is we should know what is right for us and what is wrong for us and accordingly discipline our life with proper diet and exercises.
