Breathing is the best technique to release stress. Most of the time the reason for stress is we are unable to manage our breathing. Stress and anxiety are necessary and part of our life to motivate us to work. They are the driving force to enable us to work efficiently and flawlessly. Till it is managed well, there is no problem, but when the stress and anxiety is unmanageable, we go through intense stress and it starts affecting our body. Breathing techniques releases stress and helps us manage breathing during stress and anxiety. Breathing also calms our mind, make us happy and eventually calms our body and relaxes our body. Breathing is continuously observed during posture practice which helps in maintaining breathing in any bodily changes or situation. Breathing Exercises and Shavasana bring relaxation to mind and body. Shavasana is the most important part of our Yoga session and should not be missed. Breathing exercises should always be learned under teacher’s supervision and guidance. Breathing is involuntary process; therefore, it should be learned under teacher’s guidance.
Meditation is not sitting without any thoughts or concentration. It is difficult to sit idle without any internal activity. Meditation is a practice where an individual uses a technique – such as mindfulness, or focusing their mind on a particular object, breath, posture, thought or activity – to train attention and awareness, and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm and stable state.
